Thank you...

I would just like to say Thank You to all of you who are supporting us through this tough time. We are deeply saddened that we are closing. Poor Jay, his heart is being torn every day as children come in and bring him little letters of what Fundom Kids has meant to them. Letters of milestones for little brother or sister or Mr. Jay, I'll miss you. Some of the children are bringing us change from thier piggy banks, some of the mothers have told us tales of how the children have reacted when they told them we were closing... 4 year olds wanting to call thier grandma's and ask them to "write a check" to keep Fundom Kids open. Mom's asking to make donations and some wanting to do bake sales. I can't even get through this without crying. You and your children have meant so much to Jay. I don't know what God has in store for us next, but know that you and your children will always have a special place in our hearts. It is sad that Fundom Kids is closing, but Jay and I have discovered so much on this journey. Perhaps it wasn't God's plan for us to arrive at the Fundom Kids destination, but it was the journey that we were to take. We learned so much about ourselves and our relationships, strengths and weaknesses. We found out what we were made of. We found out who our friends were... I can't help but have a dozen people pop into my mind every time I hear that Tracy Lawrence song. People who have no vested interest in Fundom Kids making phone calls, sending emails and handing out fliers, making meals for us and praying for us as we began and are now finishing Fundom Kids. God has been faithful, families have been strengthened and children have been encouraged. We have met so many wonderful people and made so many new friends. It has been an amazing experience.

The Toy Master's birthday is Tuesday. It's hard to believe that my oldest "child" is going to be 38. Our Research and Development Team have decided that they wanted to get Daddy a cake with a super fast Mustang on it, and since he'll be spending his day at his home away from home we'll have cake at Fundom Kids. So come out for some Mustang cake... unlike me, Jay will only eat one piece and I'll have to eat the rest... No, I have no will power, Yes, I will eat it all, don't make me : )

Thank you for supporting Fundom Kids...
